hah!! one thing is for sure, if bill gates had to pay even a dollar to each person for every time that windows managed to make life hell for the pc users, he would be broke by now. that's a fact and we all know it (though for an ignoramus like me gordon had to point it out). some times this whole thing about computers drives me nuts...but then i am quite certain that most of you already think that i am nuts. :D
after battling for about 4 hours the dreaded windows XP and an innocent virus called trojan-spy, that fucked up my internet connection for almost 4 days, i am all ready to crash into my bed. but, like the nice guy that i am, i thought that it would be kindda nice of me to just wish you all good night before i go...
see ya all later...
night. ;)

now family's always important...but check them out...my cousins'...5 hot babes and 1 handsom guy...luv you all and miss you guys.

sweet music...sweeter babes!!

bangladeshi jihad!!! (a.k.a mauritian muslim)
seems quite incredible, but then that's life, and hey, i'm certainly not complaining...life has it's up's and down's...chelsea's surging forward towards it's first Champions League title and my english is deteriorating and going the mauritian way...aughh!!
well, apart from all of this drama that occupies the center stage in my life there's a lot going on off-stage too...for starters let me not forget to mention that the exams are just around the corner, and true to the incredible University of Mauritius style, they have managed to give us a time-table that screams the word FUCK YOU right from the first to the last exam's dates...but hey, all i want to say is "let's get done with it...i want to move on to the third year"...
now that i finally have managed to catch up with most of the blogging exploits of my friends, i would highly recommend that you read gordon's blog and then go back to mine to a particular post that i put up say around 2 months back titled fading memories...read his comments for that little post and than go back and read his latest post...all i gotta say is ha ha ha ha!!! life sure has its share of irony...and sometimes it can be awfully funny...good work, my poetic bru (though the words are not your own i do assign property rights to you). but don't worry bru, your gonna be just fine and life is going to work out just fine, trust me. ;D
apart from that, listen up folks...the blogging madness has caught up with our 'schlong-girl' anne too...yesssss!!! anne has a blog...go check it out on www.froeschle.blogspot .com (we all love you anne) and as for you nafiz, quit complaining, and go get a blog...you bloody bangladeshi fallu mama...it's easy to sit back and read what everyone else has to write. jump onto the bandwagon.
now then, i must say that i have definitely been disappointed with my german buddies. though tiomo is the sole exception and i do manage to catch mitty online from time to time. no-longer-a-rasta and sir hubsi have become elusive characters and this pains me a lot...after all one does love to hear from one's dearest friends. i just hope that you guys are having fun this semester back home? though it's not going anywhere near to being comparable to the time in mauritius...tiomo, i'm sure that giving it some more time will do the trick. by the way, it's great to know that you are back to partying and having bbq's on the roof of your new apartment. also good luck with your neighbor. hope she's a sizzling german gal. go work your cute charm brother!! (hello to marcus and mandy)
all right then, that's all from me for tonight...catch ya all later...gotta go and watch the big game.
man, i'm a lazy good for nothing fellow for not keeping my blog updated...magar kya kare, bahut busy life hai. time nahi milta na...but i must say, i love it when folks still read my old stuff and comment on my blog (i'm talking about you mitu, welcome to my blog...enjoy reading and keep commenting)...
well the past 3 weeks have had more than their share of incidents that are worth mentioning. for starters...india beat pakistan in the 2nd test match in kolkatta (the loss in the 3rd test is of no significance...all that matters is winning in kolkatta)...man we guys rock...go team india...alle india...nafiz even you have to agree with me on this one...and by now we have thrashed the pakis in 5 out of the 7 one days as well…so no place for any doubt huh?
apart for that, Chelsea has been capitalizing on its splendid form and made it to the quarter finals of the UEFA cup and is all set to win the cup...hah!! what more can i ask for...allez Chelsea.
now comes the best part...
the last few weeks have been quite different in the aspect that we have been hanging out with a bunch of mauritian guys from the university. yep, the siven gang (the awesome foursome of siven, havish, darren and stevie) have been the new addition to our ever expanding party circle. it's actually quite interesting as to how it all started...
well you see we had this show organized by the rays club in the university where fano was supposed to sing...now only a mad person would miss going to fano's concert...and so keeping in with our promise to fano we (i.e. jess, heather and myself) got our asses into the stuffed auditorium (of course we had front row seats thanks to siven who was helping organize the whole thing)...most of the show was conducted in creol and hence was quite interesting but the best part was towards the end when fano and stevie along with their pals brought down the house with their performance. yeah baby, the Rasta man rocked...
now comes the more interesting part. after the show we caught up with stevie just before we left...now stevie's a cool chap...a BIG guy who can play the guitar quite well and who works part time as a bodyguard and a bouncer and who's studying engineering at the university...interesting mix i would say... well so then i get a call that evening from siven, apparently stevie has been talking non-stop about heather all day and by this time siven had had enough. so he calls me and asks me if it would be possible to plan something with stevie and the other guys. in short stevie wanted to party with us or more correctly with heather. :D
well, lets just say, we were all highly amused with the way things were playing out...so jess managed to convince heather and decided to meet those guys at the waterfront. don’t ask me when, cause i don't remember the exact date...the girls were going to some happy hour organized by the american embassy and they decided to catch up with the boys after that. but like they say, things always don't work out the way you plan them...it turned out that i could not spare the evening that day and had to stay back at home...now that really pissed jess off...at this point i must confess that i was a jerk. but if i was a jerk then god only knows what the guys are, cause the guys had trouble with their car and didn't show up before 10 at night...hmm, 4 hours late for the first date...not bad stevie...
by this time the girls had already gone back home and jess was even ready to tuck into her bed and lo, siven calls me saying that the guys were there at the waterfront...so then, what else could i say...i told them that they were a bunch of idiots and the worst part was that they were still expecting the girls to be ready to go out with them that night...sorry siven, not possible.
well i’m really tired with narrating this stale story and more over it sucks, things have really moved on since this incident…so lets' move on as well, shall we??
dumb mauritian guys…but life is full of surprises and some of them are called havish(mollywood), darren (zombiee ee ee ohh ohh), stevie (the big blue ape!! don’t believe me, ask uma) and siven (a.k.a muse kaka)…welcome to the party group guys.
tell me something...my friends. ain't we all lucky to have met each other? so let the fun times continue...

hubsi, joel, heath and me
